Donate to Sister!Act! and be a part of our grassroots movement to help your "sisters" in the community. For a contribution of $150 per woman per year, Planned Parenthood will be able to provide regular medical checkups, prescriptions, and other much needed health care services for low-income women and teens.
Your "sisters" need your help.
Sister!Act! is about women and men looking out for their "sisters." Our community's most vulnerable "sisters" are women who face unprecedented financial barriers in accessing reproductive health care. Ninety percent of medical clients at Planned Parenthood of West and Northern Michigan need some form of financial assistance.
That's thousands of your "sisters" who could be forced to make compromises, putting themselves at risk for unintended pregnancy, breast and cervical cancer, sexually transmitted infections, and more.
The average clinical cost for an annual exam, cancer screening, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, and a year of birth control has skyrocketed to more than $250. Without the generosity of people like you, many of our clients would not have access to quality health care.
For many of these women, Planned Parenthood of West and Northern Michigan is their only link to the health care community. They depend on us. We don't want to let them down. To ensure we don't, we need your help.
Rally for your "sisters" — and give.
Gifts to Sister!Act! help us provide one year of reproductive health care to a woman who might otherwise go without. A gift of $150 will help provide some services, such as:
- Comprehensive physical exam
- Cancer screening (breast and reproductive)
- Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
- Birth control methods
Because family is everything.
You might not ever meet the "sisters" your donation helps. But your gift is critical to ensuring they receive the care they need.
Adopt a "sister" — or two! You can also get the members of your family, book club, or church group to pitch in to raise at least $150 together to adopt a "sister." Either way, please help this grassroots initiative meet its goal!

As a Sister!Act! Leader you will set a fundraising goal and invite your friends, family, and others to join your effort to help.
